Getting ready to close

Hello all i got my solar cover off and now vaccuming pool i notice some green alge on bottom of pool i had solor cover one and ran filter everyday they are hard spots of alge. Yesterdsy i vaccumed allday now km vaccuming and filtering also want to use closeing chemicals later today. What im asking is would that hamper my closing with the alge on bottom of pool? Any advice would be great.

It would be best to eliminate the algae before you totally close. Leaving the algae in there might create a green monster when you open next spring. I would suggest doing a SLAM now in hopes to quickly kill any algae before you close. The SLAM link is below in my signature. If you close with a messy pool, you have a good chance of opening with a messy pool. No real big deal, just a lot more work in the Spring.
