Will an SWG still produce chlorine with the "inspect cell" lit?

Hi,
Yes. The SWG will still make chlorine with the inspect cell lit, providing the 'generating chlorine" light is still on.

The inspect cell light comes on every 90 days whether it needs it or not. The message can be cleared. Check your owners manual for how.

Clear the blinking inspect cell light by pressing the diagnostics button for a few seconds.

If the light is not blinking but solid, then there might be a problem.

Can you post the diagnostic readings?
