We just completed our inground pool - just in time to close it for the winter!
I want to get a test kit so we can test our own chemicals, but I understand that the chemicals have a shelf life. Given that we are going to close the pool within a couple of weeks, I'm wondering if we should hold off on buying the kit until the spring (and have the water tested by a local pool store in the meantime) or will the kit chemicals last long enough for us to be able to use them next season? Looking at the TFP-100 or Taylor K-2006 kits.
