Wiring Intellibrite

I am replacing my old 120v light with a Intellibrite 5g 12v. I have a PX300 wired up and there are 2 black wires on the 12v side. The 12v Intellibrite has aa black wire and a white wire.

Does it matter which wire goes where? I can't imagine how it would but I want to be sure I don't screw up the light.

does not matter on low voltage. If one of the black wires has a stripe on it or a ridge on the wire then hook the white to that. otherwise either output lead can go to either light wire
