How do you flush pool water through spa air piping to kill algae?

I read on another thread about mustard algae sometimes hiding in the spa air piping. The recommended action was to flush your pool shock water back through the air piping. How exactly would you do this?

You should have a standpipe for the air line somewhere? If you do, a small amount of bleach would help

Duh, now I get it. I thought the blower was glued to the pipe...the whole thing just lifts off the standpipe! Thanks, OldPoolMan!
