Is it ok to use 8.5% Walmart bleach in pool?

Wal Mart Bleach is now 8.25% Sodium hypochlorite. Still okay to use? (121oz jugs / just shy of a gal.)

Is it okay to use sodium hpochlorite (liquid bleach) and calcium hypoclorite (Leslie's Power powder plus 73%) at the same time in the pool? I need to SLAM my pool and have about half of each. (4 jugs of bleach and 2 packs of power powder plus.)

It's quite popular here, actually. Just be sure it's the plain stuff, not any splashless stuff.

Yes, but why?? Harder to manage and know how much FC to expect, unless working close with PoolMath.

Yes. But don't dissolve the powder in the bleach.

Predissolve the cal-hypo in a bucket of pool water and then treat it as bleach, pouring it in front of a return. Then add whatever bleach you need to add the same way.
