My thermocouple is putting out 480 mvs yet the heater won't fire unless I jump the terminals sometimes. Once jumped it stays running until the temp is reached so I know all the safety switches are ok. I have about 5 feet of wire running to the Jandy Aqualink. Is there special wire I should be running? The thermocouple is a aftermarket one, does the more expensive Hayward put more MVS out. ?
