    50W Transformer with Single Intellibrite?

I am replacing a 120V halogen light with a 12v Intellibrite light. The manual says you can connect 3 pool lights and a spa light to one 300W transformer. I only have one light in my pool so can I use a 50W Transformer?

Re: 50W Transformer with Single Intellibrite?

According to the Pentair brochure for the Intellibrite 5g, the color changing light is 26 Watts. Therefore your 50 Watt transformer would work for ONE color changing light only. If your Intellibrite is the white version only, then it will draw 55 Watts and you cannot use a 50 Watt transformer.
