Heat pumps in Phoenix

Does anyone have experience using a heat pump in Phoenix? If so, how much does it extend your season and what are your typical operating costs? I'm hoping to extend our season from March/April to October if possible, but not sure if that is possible with a heat pump.

Any input is appreciated.

Glad you got a chuckle out of it. However, this is a serious question. Our unheated swim season is roughly mid-May to September. I'm looking for experience of locals who have used a heat pump to extend that season.

Still interested in relevant replies.
