Hello, Has anyone used EVA foam tiles like the colored ones often used in kids playrooms under the pool liner? I think it would be very effective, but would cost about $1 a square foot. I've looked at things like gorilla liner which would help prevent punctures, but I'm not sure it would offer a big help to add cushion. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated!

I myself have not heard of folks using foam base material below an AG pool. I'm sure if you use the search box for "foam base" or "foam bottom" you might get some informative threads.
