    Repairing or replacing pool steps.

I am loosing about 1 inch of water a day from my pool. Tiered of the $$ water bills so I had pool guy come out. There are several cracks on my fiberglass steps. He says I need new steps and they will run about $4000-5000, also recommends doing liner at same time another $5,000. Is that price on steps the norm? Thanks -will

Both prices sound a little high to me, but they are in the general ballpark for retail, if you are interested in the DIY materials cost look here Inground Swimming Pool Steps just remember there is a fair amount of labor and concrete work needed to install.
