My above ground pool liner was cut above the water line by debris during a storm. I know there are products to repair it, but I need to know how to clean the vinyl. The liner is stained buy blowing dirt. We also have hard water. I have tried various cleaning products with no success. There are about 13 slits and 3 quarter size holes to patch in a six foot area. Our temperature is severe at times, we live in the desert. Can you help me?

Baking soda and a toothbrush can be useful in removing dirt from the area. I would give that a try. If you're trying to remove hard water scale, you might have to resort to a dilute vinegar solution to try to loosen the calcium build up. The Boxer 100 patch kit have the best feedback here on TFP.
