Wow I need all the help I can get especially about equipment. I live in the Sunny State Of Florida where every other house has a pool. But no one want's to give reference. HELP!!!

Gunite is a type of concrete that is sprayed from a truck. It forms the shell of the pool. Plaster is the Finish Surface. It's applied over the gunite and when you look into a finished pool, its the plaster you see.

Gunite is also known as "shotcrete".

There are different types of plaster products other than regular white, which are upgrades. $$ PebbleTec and WetEdge are a couple of Brands come to mind.
There area a LOT of options in the higher priced plasters. Color, size of the aggragate, etc....

Would a 1.5 pump be a good fit for a 14X28 IG with a Spa, spill over, 4 returns, 2 main drains,(PB choice) along with AutoCal Heat/Cool

Florida Pools...Can someone tell me if you install IG Pool do you request the soil to be tamped before rebar? Do you request the soil to be tamped before pavers and after pavers ?

Well the pump sounds about right for that size pool with those features. Not sure about Florida soil but put gray rock down on the bottom of the pool and put it down before putting the decking down. That stuff can turn a swamp into a paved road when compacted. I used it in my mushy backyard for the paver path from the driveway to the pool deck.
