Thought I'd share our experience thus far. Need additional pic of the latest progress...we are close!....closer! Steps are in, concrete collar is poured as is the equipment pad.
We have hired (the last) two weekends of day laborer from two kids...(to us) for 10 & 15 dollars a piece.
This was my bid for excavation, which I ended up doing myself except the final wall shaving & slope to deep end.
My total cost thus far for the dig has been ~ $1800 over 4 weekends of skid steer rental.I have never put one of these together & never ran a bobcat except for the 1 day training I had at work the week before I started the dig!
At this point we have decided to hire the rest of the work out because we got a really good bid from someone who has done several pools...he's a concrete guy.
