leaking pool pilot check valve?

Don't know if it's one piece or assembled.......I have a Pool pilot digital SWG and I have the horizontal check valve that is a white plastic pipe with the transparent plastic in the middle where the spring is.........anyway, I have a slow leak coming out where the transparent and solid plastic meet.........I'm guessing it's a crack in the single unit but I don't know. Anyone have any thoughts? I'm thinking of using some compression tape to try to stop this slow leak.

If its under warranty, I'd recommend contacting the factory. If its out of warranty or not as a result of a defect, you can use A&B Epoxy Putty. If you go this route, make sure you stuff the epoxy into the gaps.
