I am building a 20x40 pool and was wondering if I can backfill the polymer walls before I do the liner and also I had a small piece of the top of the polymer wall break will this cause any problems its were the coping goes on

NOT a good idea to do any back filling before the liner is installed and the pool s full.

IS this do to the fact that they are polymer, or just a thing about vinyl pools?

From what I understand it's just because it's a polymer wall pool
