    salt water pool start up

    Isit necessary tho have a salt converter to start a salt water that was previously chlorine. I have a Hayward system

    Welcome to the forum.

    Salt pools are chlorine pools.....just a different method of delivering chlorine to your pool.

    Your SWG is the only "converter" you'll need!
