A week ago something happened.
I had the water level steady declining bery little over the summer since beg. of July until the last weekend. I had semi rigid Tiger striping pipes (almost impossible to clamp well) connecting my pump to the filter inlet and the return to the pool. I think my real estate agent decided to put my vacuum hose near the pump, moved it....and everything started leaking.
I cheked around the pool, all is fine, skimmer not leaking either.
But the filter hose adapter fittings leak.
I put three or four layers of theflon tape, still leak. In a day I lose about 1/3" of water. Only when equipment runs, nothing overnight when it does not run.
So....how do I stop the leak? Would those fittings with flanges and gaskets help?
Neec to solve fast - we go on vacation in a week and the pool will lose enough water in a week for the pump to run dry.
