    Clorox Sand

Moderator note - Moved from here: New Pool, Intex Customer Service, Long Post, lol

i Just purchased some "clorox" brand sand from lowes today, I wasn't sure if I was making a mistake or not but bought it anyway. Has anyone used clorox brand with luck or should I return it and go for the HTH brand from somewhere else?

If it is proper pool filter sand, then I can not imagine why there would be any difference.

I was just wondering about that as well. Is it the sand that says you don't have to use as much?

WOW Clorox is going all in for the pool stuff! I don't know how it could be any different than HTH but we did just have someone on here that bought pool sand with the Quikcrte label and it was NOT good pool sand. It was very dirt and play sand like. He had a BIG problem with it blowing back into the pool.

I bought some Chorox branded DE. It seemed fine.
