Starting to install my 22' intex agp tomorrow and ordered a couple goodies to go along with it. The 3000 gph intex sand filter and pump & the hayward skimmer. Should I wait a week or so before installing it(skimmer that is)? Id hate to install it right away and have the holes stretch out a tad and cause a leak. I live in AZ by the way.

Your pool should be stretched and fitting fine just as soon as you get water in it. No need to wait. I am not too familiar with Intex setups but my guess is you will want to work from inside the pool some.

I would fill it half way, get in and go to work. Keeps your feet cool, too!

I agree with Dave, no need to wait. I drained mine just below the bottom of the skimmer before cutting it.

Thanks for the replies everyone. In the middle of getting the yard set up. Hopefully this weekend I can start filling up :D
