Starting to install my 22' intex agp tomorrow and ordered a couple goodies to go along with it. The 3000 gph intex sand filter and pump & the hayward skimmer. Should I wait a week or so before installing it(skimmer that is)? Id hate to install it right away and have the holes stretch out a tad and cause a leak. I live in AZ by the way.

Yes, I will wait a little, in my case was two months, but I hated all the insects floating in my pool, so go for it and install sooner than me, good luck
Your pool should be stretched and fitting fine just as soon as you get water in it. No need to wait. I am not too familiar with Intex setups but my guess is you will want to work from inside the pool some.

I agree with Dave, no need to wait. I drained mine just below the bottom of the skimmer before cutting it.
Thanks for the replies everyone. In the middle of getting the yard set up. Hopefully this weekend I can start filling up 
Yes, no need to wait. I installed mine during the first fill up when it was about half full.
take your time when mounting the skimmer and careful cutting the vinyl. I had minor leaks on each side of the gasket and had to use clear silicon which took care of it. At some point i'll put a new gasket (winter) and won't cut it this time.
