Cloudy Water

Our pool appears crystal clear when we are not in it. Once the kids get in and stir it up, it becomes cloudy white and you cannot see the length of the pool under water. We have been treating for algae and backwashing regularly with our sand filter. Pool was fine until about 3 weeks ago when it got hot, 90+ every day. I think we may not be running the filter enough? We have been running 8 hours a day since it has gotten hot out. Could the cloudiness be due to algae that we have scrubbed off the liner that is not being removed from the pool by the filter?

All suggestions are welcome and much appreciated.

How are you testing you water?

I have some ideas but need to above info. first please.

What are your test results. We can not help you without them.

Cloudiness, especially after a full bather load will more than likely point to an impending algae bloom.
