Hello, guys and gals!

Recently purchased a couple boxes of HTH liquid chlorinator at the Walmart because they were $6 a box. Box read 10% Sodium Hypochlorite. Is there any difference between this brand and the others I can buy at the local Leslie's or Champion pool stores? The reason I ask is because I spoke to a couple of fellow pool owners who explained the other 90% of inert ingredients contained in the cheaper brands may contain higher amounts of salt or calcium than premium brands. Is this something I need to be concerned or aware of? Where can I find the MSDS or the list of ingredients for the other 90%? Thanks for any info!

Yes, liquid chlorine, liquid shock and bleach are all sodium hypochlorite, water and a pinch of salt. The only difference is the percentage of sodium hypochlorite.
