Tested my pool water today and pool chemistry was: FC 5, PH 7.5, TA 80, CYA 70, CH 800., water temp 90. Pool water seems to look good. Was in the process of debating whether or not to add borates to 30-50 ppm to control ph drift due to SWG. My wife is concerned about health hazards. If I decide to proceed with adding borate I was going to increase to 30 ppm. Outdoor Pool is in direct sunlight almost all day.

You can let your TA drop as low as 50 to see if that will stabilize PH first. Keep adding acid to lower Ph and TA will drop.
