Splitting pump duty between skimmer and cleaner

Quick question on run times... I understand that I do not need to run my pool pump for very long each day, but since the pump does double duty between Skimmer and Vaccum, I was wondering what you guys suggest for a normal amount of time for each.

Pool is 15,000 gallons in an L'ish shape. I have a sand filter and Pentair Variable Speed pump. If one of the smart people on here wouldn't mind recommending a time + speed suggestion for skimming and cleaning, I would really appreciate it.

Experiment. Pump run time depends solely on what it takes to keep your pool clean. I would suggest you start with a total of 12 hours run time and back off until you find it unsatisfactory. Most folks use 1000 rpm to start

Thank you for the quick response. My system has a 2 way valve that switches between skimmer and pump and I was trying to see if I should balance between the two (6 hours skimmer, 6 hours cleaner) or go half and half for 12 hours?
