    Skitch Hitchcock

I'm not really Skitch Hitchcock, but I did ride his World Champion model skateboard in 1975!

My route was a bit different, but I ended up at the same place. Pool stayed clear the first year by sheer overchlorination(?). Second year it turned green and I got poolstore'ed.

After visting my THIRD pool store I saw a Taylor K-2006 for sale and that was my last purchase at a pool store. Somebody on reddit clued me in to the CYA/chlorine relationship and I got it cleared on my own.

This spring I wandered across TFP and fell in love with the Pool Math page. Thanks for everything you all do!

Before and after photos attached! The green pool is 7/29/2014. The blue pool is this morning.

Look at that difference! Looks like it could be even better though.

    It's crystal clear, that's a bad photo.

I rarely have to add anything other than chlorine.
