Piping Pressure Test - Lost 2 psi in 7 Days

My pool is currently under construction and the piping under pressure testing. The testing started at 40 psi but over the last 7 days it has dropped down to 38 psi.

Is this pressure drop acceptable? Should I be concerned?

I am not sure but I would bet it's OK. What does the PB say?

likely more related to temperature change affecting pressure than losing water... a few psi change is normal.

Sure someone from MA would say a few PSI is OK due to temperature change!!!

Ours moved around quite a bit - plus the ones that were left for weeks changed a bit more than you are seeing.

Absolutely its temperature. I watched mine lose 2-3 at night and gain during the hot day times.
