I have an Intex 22' by 48" above ground pool with an 8" rip about 2 inches from the bottom/edge of the pool. We did put a piece of "sticky" paper over it, but the rip got bigger and eventually we lost all of the water. My question is: can I save the pool liner with a secure fix or should I purchase another pool. It is a sand/salt filer and we have had the pool for 3 years.

I don't think a patch that big will hold for very long. It would be best to replace the pool.
