Yeah. Things worked out better than anticipated. Only problem now is we have to leash up the pup anytime she is outside. Can't let her roam unattended in the backyard. Oh well. Only for another few weeks.

Turned out to be a non-issue. Guy marking must've just had false positive. Or low battery... heh.
Are you having to keep her leashed due to the fence being down or are you worried about her getting into the dirt?
If it is the fence you can make a temp. fence or even use the panel they took down to block from the side of the house to the other panel just so she can run around a bit. Of course I would not leave her out on her own (knowing Jacks like I do) but she would at least be able to run off some of her steam.
If it is to keep her from digging.........that is a whole different thing!

Both actually. But that's OK. She's not really a digger unless she catches a smell. She doesn't dig just to dig or trying to get out. I'll post some pics of her later.
I say get some cheap fence material to just tack up when you are going to be out there and let her run.

6 months. 10 lbs. We take her for walks and play with her a lot inside so she can stand to be leashed for a few weeks.

Plumbers are here stubbing out the PV3 and other feeds. Guess rebar is coming soon.
Now would be a great time to teach her some new commands----stand, wait, STOP!, and whatever else you can think of to help her be a good citizen with the pool and friends.

OH yeah! Teach cannonball as a trick! I want to do that one! I bet Bullet, my mastiff/lab mix would love that one! Teach it as the "okay" to get in the pool from the side! CUTE!

Plumbers started yesterday around 1pm or so. Finished around 5pm. Rebar guys came in and worked into the night. Not sure when they finished because I watched Hard Knocks and didn't care. Haha.
Seriously though, I think they finished around 8:30p or so. Using shop lights to light the area. Didn't get this pic until this morning.

That's the plan. Steel inspection this morning and gunite this afternoon. I'll know more when I get home. We're supposed to have rain latter part of this week so he was pushing to get the gunite in today.

Sort of. Haha. They essentially flashed it. About 1/2" all the way around. Just enough to hopefully avoid any collapse during the next couple of days of rain. They did pretty much fill out the shallow end, though. So that's looking good.

Our neighbors 2 over were supposed to start their dig today but the builder postponed it because of the weather.
I am glad they did something to keep it from getting messed up BUT why not just do the whole thing while they were at it? I am sure there is a reason but...........
