Anyone know what the purpose of the yellow pop outs are for in this cleaner? I never pop them out when cleaning. Should I?

I don't have your model, but on mine they cause the Dolphin to float at an angle when cleaning the tile water line. You only extend one or the other at one time. The handle on the older Dolphins could change positions with the same result. Not sure if they have any other uses. Play with them and see, it can't hurt anything.

I have this model and I pop both sides out. I understand it enables the unit to make 90° turns
