How to protect the pool from yard work dust?

So we have decided to keep the pool!! But our yard work is not finished yet. We still need to put the bricks in the retaining wall and fill it up. The pool guy is coming to fix it and we were hoping to save the pool from getting all the dust from the yard work. Any ideas? Or any easy steps to clean it up if the pool dirties up due our yard work?

Filter! What kind of filter do you have?

If you have a 2 speed pump turn it on high. If you have a bottom drain shut it off and let the skimmer do all of the pulling so that any dirt that settles on the surface will go into the skimmer and get filtered out.
