It's still relatively rare to have a pool in England but increasingly less so - sadly I am moving house so will lose my 10,000 gallon pool - a bit of a monster by domestic standards. It is 5ft at the shallow end, 8 ft. at the deep end and is lined with blue mosaic (including a couple of dolphins, a sea horse and a “name” (Ben - the builder’s younger brother). It harbours many great memories I am hoping to make the most of it this summer
My love affair with North America started with getting a job with Morgan Stanley - an interesting mix of some very focused (but generally great fun) people) and the occasional psychopath (!) - Well the company is based in New York! I then travelled in the USA extensively for business and also had a few holidays in places like Florida, Seattle, Vail etc. and also in Canada (just love British Columbia esp. Whistler
