Adjusting Chlorine Output with Autopilot

I'm not sure why but if I set the chlorine output to say 50% then recheck the display the next day the % output often is at a different amount. Is this unit made to auto-adjust the chlorine output? No one else touches the unit.

Is there a programmed schedule that has the output set at a different %? If so, whenever it hit the next time slot in the program settings, it would set to that %.

Received a response from the manufacturer.

"Thank you for contacting us. The AutoPilot units have temperature compensation. After you set the unit percentage, if the water temperature goes up, the purification percentage will go up. If the water temperature goes down, the percentage will go down. Warmer water typically needs more purification."
