Vacuum head question

Hey everyone,

So they hubby went out to vacuum the pool and the cap and spring was gone from one of the top openings on the vacuum head.
Will the head not work now? We just bought so if it isn't functional, I will return it, just don't want to drive to the pool store again. LOL

Hi, I used to have one just like that, did the same thing. It will still work with the piece gone. I'm not even sure what function it serves. My current vacuum head is one solid piece.
