HI gang, looking for some help. I need a new solar cover. I'm wondering if anyone has any info about black ( or dark blue) covers vs the regular blue. Wondering if they really do heat the water better, and do they last as long? I have a 18 x 36 in ground basic rectangle. Thanks.

When I was shopping for a solar cover, I was advised by several people to get the Clear, heavy weight kind. I have been very happy with it so far as I can raise the pool temp 6-8 degrees and a couple of days with good sun.
