Hello, new member here, and I'm really enjoying learning about our pool on this site! My wife and I purchased our first home about 9 months ago, so we've been doing all sorts of cool projects to it! The latest is an outdoor kitchen area. I did all the work myself, minus the stucco!

Before I built it, I designed it on Google SketchUp

And then I use masking tape on the ground with everything to scale. This gives me an idea of how big it will actually feel

Starting on the framing. I anchored everything to the ground. I used 1x1 tubing, .095 wall for most of it, but 1.5x1.5 .120 wall for the bar, and 2x4 .120 wall for the bar leg.

Welded foot on bar stand (still practicing my welding...)

Added a trash receptacle at the end of the bar. I welded in some angle iron as 'slides' for the trash can. The trash is emptied through a hidden door around the back.

The only part of the job I didn't do myself.... stucco. I went with an acrylic synthetic stucco.

I love the metal tubing as a base, worked out great and looks like you used less supplies than using wood or metal 2x4's

And some finished pictures...

I added a car bluetooth radio receiver with 12v power inverter behind it. It has reception from all over the back yard. We have 4 rock speakers around so it distributes the sound nicely without it being too loud. The tv has a DirecTV receiver on the back of it, and it also goes through the stereo.

Added two lights that come on when the rest of my landscape lighting comes on

Aluminum all weather bar stools, and a retractable awning toward the back side to shield the sun throughout the day.

Thanks for the post... The Bull products are great! I got that a bit below cast, which swayed my decision to get them, but I'm happy I did!
