Trying to decide if I need to continue to slam and for how long?
Pool readings have been pretty stable: FC - 6, PH - 7.5, Alk - 130, CYA - 70; but I noticed pool has not been as sparkly as usual, kinda dull looking and few waterbugs in pool so checked CC and it was 0.5 and OCLT - 1. Still decided maybe I should go ahead and slam and started last night. Scrubbed pool walls, floors, steps and this morning pool looks great, sparkle is back. So I was thinking great no need to continue to slam, but then I noticed a few dark brown spots on 2 noodles we had left in the pool and in looking closer noticed a few of these spots on steps. I'm assuming algae? Scrubbed pool again, but wondering if I should continue to slam even though I do not see anything else at this time and for how long?
