Foreclosure pool owner -- Dunn, Dunn, Dunnnnnn!!!

I'm new to TFP and pools in general.

My husband and I bought a foreclosure house with a pool about a year ago. We have a now two-year old, so remodeling the inside of our house has been our main focus. It's now time to focus on the pool... The very green pool.

I've been binging on any algae threads I could find and haven't found one that fits my pool exactly, soooo thought I'd join you guys!

I'm going to make my first post with pics in the algae forum. See ya there!

    Welcome to TFP!

Your pool can be cleared up. Several thousand pools before yours are now sparkling after being green or even black. Here is one example: A little encouragement for those with algae and new to BBB
Gold Supporter, TFP Lifetime Supporter, 26,680 gal Plaster IGP 3.5 - 10' depth / Attached Waterfall Spa, Manually Chlorinated, Triton Sand Filter, 1.5 HP * 1.1 SF = 1.65 SFHP 1-speed Pentair WhisperFlo WF-26 Pump, 400K BTU NG Teledyne Laars Series One Heater, Polaris 360, Test Kit Comparison, Chlorine/CYA Chart, SLAMing Your Pool, OCLT
A good test kit is an investment, not an expense.
