Just wanted to let everyone know that I replaced my old Polaris pump that was screaming but still doing its job. I easily changed it out and installed the Pentair Boost-Rite in about 30 minutes. Could have been less. I only mention this because I am so thrilled with how quiet it is and I dont see much mention of this pump here. It did cost a bit more than the current Polaris pumps but when I turn it on I truly can hardly hear it just a few feet away. The fact that the piping moves a little bit at turn on is a better indicator than sound. Hope you find this information useful.

How's your power consumption been? Pentair claims about a 25% savings. In theory the multi-impeller design should be more efficient.
