How long to take intex 16' intex pool and safe for yard?

Hello, how long does it take to drain*** with 2 hoses? Should I pull the drain plug and throw the hoses over the edge? Have a buyer looking at Saturday and talking about picking up Sunday... May need to borrow a sump pump I feel....

Also is my water safe if I pull the chlorine floater and let it burn off the 3ppm?

They drain fast. You could leave the water in so the buyer could see the pool with water and drain it overnight. The hardest part is getting the last 1/2" out.

I drained my 15-48" Intex last year over night. I didn't use a hose, just opened the drain. I also had the filter hoses off.

I bought a sump pump from Lowes for about $80 and drained mine in about 7 hours. The last 1/4" or so, I sucked out with a shop vac.

If you have a vacuum hose you can siphon pretty darn fast with that. Just have to have a way to keep it in place as the weight of the water in the hose will try to pull it right out of the pool.
