So I just started an AA treatment today for some stains in the pool. I set the multiport to recirculate as to cut out the filter and keep the AA moving around. When I did this I noticed quite a bit of water was being sent out to waste and the pool level was dropping. It was not as much water as when setting to waste so I am thinking the spider gasket may be bad. Any other possibilities that could cause this issue?

Though a more major failure of the valve or filter plumbing could cause it, a bad gasket is the most likely culprit.

That is what I figured. New gaskets ordered and I'll take apart the valve tonight and inspect the other pieces.
