Taylor pH test - time to read results

Hi,

I have noticed that when measuring the pH with my Taylor kit, that after the initial reading (10seconds or so) if I let the sample sit in the tube over a minute or more, the sample darkens towards the higher Ph range. I assume this is normal and readings should be taken immediately ?

You are correct. You wants use the reading taken immediately.
