I just recently bought a house with my first pool. 20,000 gallons inground liner pool. Currently I have a single speed Pac Fab pump, is it worth the cost of having a 2 speed pump installed for efficiency purposes. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to TFP!!!It really depends on your electric costs per kW.
Cheapest option would be to put a 2-speed motor on your existing pump. This would give you most of the energy savings of a VS pump (mentioned above) without the high upfront cost. There are cheaper VS pumps that could be a good option depending on your flow requirements.
