    The first thing I would check is your filter. Take it apart and really look close at your grids or fingers. Are there any holes, tears, etc.

    Let us know what you find.

    Welcome to TFP!
    You say you have a DE filter. I am not sure where the sand is coming from. Someone else should be along shortly
