    What does OP mean?

I'm feeling really uninformed. I keep reading posts where people are referred to as OP. I even saw a recent post where Duraleigh referred to himself as OP. I can think of a few things it could mean, but I'm not sure they are right. Can you all help a gal out?

Alright...I figured it out. The urban dictionary says it means 'original poster'. I'm glad I didn't share any of my guesses for what it meant

You got it. Pretty generic and I think we usually mostly avoid it and try to use names ... more friendly

Yep, OP = Original Poster. This is the person who starts a thread.

    Lefty51 beat me to it!

Great Post! Always ask and we all get on the same page. I do it because I am a lazy typist and it's a nice shortcut..
