Intex 1 1/4" non-threaded...?

I'm fairly confident that many of the forum posts re: Intex pools don't address the (new?) non-threaded intex connections. I have 1 1/4" hoses with black rubber washers on them and hose clamps as opposed to the threaded connections I see referred to in the sticky.

I have an Intex Easy Set 12' x 30" above ground pool.

1) What's the nominal size of small filter pump hoses? 1 1/2" or 2+"? My current 1,000 GPH Krystal Clear pump has a woeful flow rate, which seems further hampered by my solar heater mat.
2) Is there an adapter between Intex 1 1/4" non threaded to 1 1/2"? I'm located in Ontario, Canada and having a lot of trouble finding appropriate adapters, etc.

Thanks!

To answer question 2):
You need an Intex "B" adapter to fit the larger threaded nut hoses (1-1/2") to the smaller non-threaded (1-1/4") pool connections:

Potentially a better question to have asked might have been why is the flow rate for my pool filter pump so abysmal, and what filter pump system would be an improvement over the 1,000 GPH intex 637R filter pump I have, that's still reasonable on a budget, but is also "intex compatible"?

I just purchased these but have not had a chance to try them yet.

I have the 22x54 round pool and the pump that came with it sucks. I don't think any of the Intex pumps are worth $10. I have the Intex Saltwater system and 2 Intex 2500 GPH pumps and it barely did the job. I have converted over to
a Hayward Pump and Sand Filter but still plan on using the Intex Saltwater System so need these adapters I posted. The ones domct203 posted I am sure are the same deal, just different brand/flavor.
