I have no wisdom on specific pool companies in Maryland but I do have a suggestion:
Pebble Tec's site lists nine companies in Maryland. I would not be surprised if some of them did only a couple of pools in Pebble Tec last year. I would be biased towards the guy that does the most volume. Call them all up and have a few come out ant give you a bid. Find out how much experience their crews have doing Pebble Tec. Look at some pools they have done. Stand on Pebble Tec in a pool they have done.
Specialty finishes are like open heart surgery you want the crew with the most experience doing the work.
