Finally found this site after surfing the poolforum for a while. I have already drastically increased my pool knowledge and have saved a ton of $$ by not having to go to the pool store to buy inflated chemicals and salt.

I have even become brave enough to conduct an ascorbic acid treatment. It's in progress right now. I'm hoping to see a nice white pool surface when I get home. I posted some more details in one of mbar's threads.
I know it's the winter season in most of the country, but here in Hawaii it's still the pool season. :-D
