I have a Polaris pressure-side cleaner and this winter, while in the cold water and under the solar cover, the cord is becoming tangled. It has several anti-tangle swivels on it and has never had the problem before.
Thoughts? Ideas?

A wild guess - the cord is less flexible when the water is cold, so it's not able to untangle itself as easily as when the water's warm.
With the solar cover on, do you still need to be running it? It seems like the pool would stay pretty clean.
