With the end of the swimming season approaching, I was wondering if we need to clean the cover before installing it this year? Is there enough baquacil residue to cause any difficulties when we open the pool next spring?

Any baq-goo on the cover will be minimal. You might need a little extra chlorine and/or have some extra CC for a couple days in the spring, but not a big deal.
