Ok, I know that all of the pumps & SWG I have seen have warnings on them to only run them while no one is in the pool.
Is there an actual reason for not running an Intex SWG while someone is swimming or is this just a warning to keep people from suing the company?

Intex stuff is usually not UL rated for swimming pools, so no bathers in the pool while it's running.

ok. I thought maybe the reasoning behind the pumps saying that was due to no suction entrapment devices with above ground pools

I believe Intex is the only swg that has that warning.

On my intex swg it says no use when in pool but it is UL listed. The reasoning I've gotten is intex products are made to work with intex products. The pumps are not UL listed so can not be used, therefor no swg also. However I use a pentair system, with the intex swg, so good to go.
